Over 17 years of professional experience in the area of civil engineering and construction management.
My academic journey began with an MSc and PhD in Civil Engineering at École des Ponts ParisTech.
I then worked as a researcher at the Laboratoire Central des Ponts et Chaussées, Research Engineer at DryTech company, Research fellow at EdF/CEA, Researcher at ENS Cachan, before joining CESI School of Engineering.
Over time, I took on leadership roles in teaching and
research, from creating international MSc programs to directing continuing education in civil engineering. In 2022, I earned my Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR), consolidating my role as both scientist and mentor. Today, I am Research Director and Regional Head at CESI,
where I lead a team of researchers, research- engineerrs and PhD candidates.
My focus : Construction 4.0, smart buildings, and sustainable cities.I have published extensively in
international journals, co-founded research chairs on City of the Future & Circular Economy and Industrialized Off-site Construction, and guided numerous doctoral projects in partnership with industry.
My research combines technical depth : energy optimization, digital twins, BIM, Lean methods
(with a systemic vision of the built environment as a driver of ecological transition).
Teaching is equally central to my work. I have trained future engineers in smart building, BIM, Lean construction, and research methodologies. I also conducted several workshops for professionals in the areas of sustainable construction, BIM, construction management and also regularly contribute to public debates through conferences, media interventions, and expert panels.
Beyond academia, I collaborate with industries, institutions, and startups to translate ideas into practice. Whether developing new building technologies, construction materials, creating demonstrators for sustainable cities, or applying blockchain to energy management.
